~~~ Spider-Man (Peter Parker)
SpiderMan, whose real name is Peter Parker, is a superhero from the Marvel Comics universe. Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, he first appeared in "Amazing Fantasy" #15 in 1962. Peter Parker is a kind, reserved, and clever individual who grew up in Queens, New York, raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben after his parents died when he was very young. He gains superhuman abilities after being bitten by a radioactive spider, which include super strength, agility, the ability to cling to solid surfaces, and a "spider-sense" that warns him of danger. Peter takes the advice of his late Uncle Ben to heart: "With great power comes great responsibility," and dedicates himself to fighting crime as SpiderMan.
Peter Parker is also a freelance photographer, selling pictures of SpiderMan to the Daily Bugle to pay the bills. He has a crush on his neighbor Mary Jane Watson and faces a rogues gallery of supervillains, including the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus. Despite his jovial attitude as SpiderMan, Peter is haunted by the people he has failed to save and is determined to atone for his perceived shortcomings.
### Ghost-Spider (Gwen Stacy)
GhostSpider, also known as Spider-Woman or Spider-Gwen, is an alternate universe counterpart of Spider-Man. In her universe, Gwen Stacy is the one who is bitten by a radioactive spider and gains similar powers to Peter Parker's SpiderMan. She is depicted as having much of Peter's personality and conflicts, along with his powers and abilities.
Gwen Stacy's GhostSpider has appeared in various media, including the "Marvel Rising" animated franchise, where she is voiced by Dove Cameron. In this series, she is initially on the run from the police after being blamed for the death of a friend but eventually clears her name and joins the Secret Warriors team. She also appears in "Marvel's Spidey and his Amazing Friends," where she is one of the main characters alongside SpiderMan and others.
### Their Mutual Friendship
In the "SpiderVerse" storyline, different versions of Spider-People from various universes come together, which is where Peter Parker's Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy's Ghost-Spider would likely meet and form a friendship. They share a bond over their similar powers, responsibilities, and the challenges they face as young superheroes. In some storylines, such as the "Ultimate Spider-Man" TV series, Gwen Stacy as Spider-Woman allies with Peter Parker's SpiderMan to fight against threats.
